Paint it before it fades

Everyone on this wall paints on the same 64 × 64 pixels in real time. Paint dissolves back into static after a minute and a half — keep your color alive and hold the most ground when the round ends.

Paint

Tap any pixel to paint it in your color. You can paint about once a second, so choose where it counts.

Hold

Paint over other colors to take their ground. Colors without players are run by bots, so there is always someone to beat.

Fade

Fresh paint is bright, old paint crackles and turns back into static. Painting next to your own pixels refreshes them too.

About StaticPix

StaticPix stores and delivers images for websites and apps: upload once, get a permanent link, and we take care of resizing and caching.

The Live Wall is our playground. Every StaticPix host runs its own wall, and each round lasts four minutes.

For developers

The wall talks over a single WebSocket at /live: a snapshot on connect, then changes several times a second. A summary is available at /live/stats.
